Introduction

Manta Network’s NPO Platform offers users a seamless, simple way to mint a unique and powerful zkSBT. zkSBTs offer users an on-chain, verifiable private credential to prove certain attributes about themselves without revealing any on-chain details. By offering this level of privacy, users can safely verify their identities while protecting other sensitive information such as their wallet address(es), cryptocurrency portfolios, NFT holdings, and historical transactions. Manta Network’s zkSBTs offer a safe and private on-chain solution for verifying aspects of your identity.

Getting Started

Minting your zkSBT is simple, and takes only two steps (detailed in the instructions below):

  1. First, you need to connect a compatible wallet that contains the original data you’re privatizing (e.g., a wallet that holds an airdrop if you’re minting an airdrop proof zkSBT). You also need to connect your Manta Wallet, which is where your minted zkSBT will appear.
  2. After connecting your wallets, just click mint to receive your zkSBT!

To get started minting your zkSBT, you will need two things:

  1. A compatible wallet that contains the original data you’re privatizing;
  2. The Manta Wallet, which is a browser extension that enables you to access all of the ZK-enabling features brought to you by the fastest ZK L1, Manta Network. To download the extension, visit the Chrome Web Store.

Step 1: Connecting the Wallets

  1. First, connect your original wallet to the NPO platform page by clicking the Verify Holder button.

<aside> ⚠️ Make sure you connect to the wallet that contains the data your are privatizing. If you connect to the wrong wallet, you are unable to proceed. You can switch wallets after connecting.

  1. After successfully connecting to your wallet, you will see a notification that says Address Confirmed. If you do not see this, you’re connected to the wrong address, and you should switch to the address that you received your airdrop on.
  2. Next you should connect to the Manta Wallet by clicking on the Connect to Manta Wallet button.

Step 2: Mint Your zkSBT

  1. After connecting your wallets (MetaMask and Manta Wallet), the last step is to mint your zkSBT. To do this, all you have to do is click on the Mint button on the right-hand side of the Mint panel.

Upon successfully minting your zkSBT, you should receive a notification that your privacy-enhanced zkSBT was minted. Congratulations! You now can verify your on-chain data without revealing your wallet address, asset information, or transaction history.
